Set aboard the luxurious ocean liner S.S. American, Anything Goes is a madcap musical comedy brimming with mistaken identities, romantic entanglements, and high-seas hijinks. When nightclub singer Reno Sweeney boards the ship bound for London, she finds herself entangled in a tangled web of love triangles, disguises, and outrageous schemes involving a lovestruck stowaway, a debutante, her eccentric fiancé, and a gangster posing as a minister. With its witty dialogue, dazzling dance numbers, and a score packed with Cole Porter’s most beloved songs—including “I Get a Kick Out of You,” “You’re the Top,” “Friendship,” and the show-stopping “Anything Goes”

Kilworth House Theatre is a hidden gem producing some of the best West End quality productions outside of London. This stunning 550 seat open-air theatre is dedicated to producing and presenting large scale professional musical theatre and was recognised in the national press as one of the Best Outdoor Theatres in the UK.

Pre-Theatre Dining in the Orangery

An outstanding architectural feature, within the four red star luxurious Kilworth House Hotel, the glorious grade II star-listed Victorian Orangery, has become a destination venue in its own right. Now fully restored, it is light and airy by day and offers a three-course pre-theatre menu which includes a variety of different delicious dishes for each course. Commencing at 12:00 Noon - £43.00 per person.

 

Picnic on the Lawn

There is something quintessentially British about picnics. At Kilworth House a special area is set aside for those who want to bring their own food. Adjacent to the theatre and overlooking the lake, rustic tables and chairs are laid out on the lawns for theatre guests to enjoy a pre-theatre picnic in the delightful grounds.

 

Bars

Access to the theatre opens one hour before each performance, and once there, guests can enjoy the facilities of the theatre bar.
