Day 1

We head firstly to the medieval Cathedral City of Winchester before arriving at The Cumberland Hotel. Bournemouth enjoys tropical gardens, a warmer climate than the rest of the UK and 7 miles of award winning golden sandy beaches.

Day 2

This morning takes us to Salisbury. Superbly situated in southern England’s rural heartland, medieval Salisbury is the perfect fusion of ancient and modern. The city lies at the confluence of five rivers and the awe-inspiring sight of the Cathedral, rising up from the water-meadows, has been described as ‘Britain’s best view’ by readers of Country Life magazine. Tuesday is market day.

Day 3

Free to enjoy the local amenities. There is so much to see and do - you will be spoilt for choice. Over 2,000 acres of glorious parks and gardens adjacent to the town centre, offering a mixture of quaint boutiques and High Street Names

Day 4

A delicious full breakfast, before we make our way to the National Trust Estate at Kingston Lacy. A lavish family house re-imagined as a Venetian Palace in the rural Dorset Countryside. More than 35 different varieties at the Fernery including the ‘ding dong’ and the ‘heffalump’, stretch through the 40-acre garden for one-and-a-half miles, includes visit to the house.

After a hearty breakfast, we bid farewell and commence our journey back home.

Our accommodation is The Cumberland Hotel located on the seafront overlooking Bournemouth Bay in the prestigious East Cliff neighbourhood - only a stroll from the beach. Facilities include The Ventana Grand Cafe Bar, the Del mar Lounge and the Mirabelle Restaurant. All rooms offer LCD TV, Hairdryer and Tea/Coffee Facilities. There is live Entertainment on 2 evenings.
