Relive the Golden Age of travel on a glorious steam-hauled round trip through the Kent countryside. Lose yourself in the romance and magic of 1920's Train travel.
Nothing encapsulates the Golden Age of Travel quite like steam power. On this nostalgic journey into the Kent countryside, feel the euphoria of being aboard our loving restored vintage train, pulled by a might, gleaming steam locomotive.
Your journey back in time begins at London Victoria Station as you board the British Pullman. Your smartly uniformed steward welcomes you into your carriage, where you have time to soak up the lavish art deco details from your plush armchair. Soon, the whistle blows, the train departs and a glass of chilled champagne is in your hand. The adventure has begun!
Heading out of London and into the Kent countryside, youll notice crowds of onlookers smiling and waving at the train. Watching a steam engine pass is an event worth stopping for. Heralded by puffs of smoke, the sounds and smells of the engine evoke memories of a time when the journey was as magical as the destination. Today, aboard our iconic train, feel time slow down, enjoy the convivial company and relish the nostalgia.
As British Pullman chugs its way towards Canterbury and down to Dover, your steward serves a sumptuous five-course feast, prepared on board by our acclaimed chef and his expert team. The freshest produce is crafted into seasonal masterpieces, complemented by our sommeliers choice of wines. The return journey takes you via Folkestone, giving you a glimpse of the sea, and Paddock Wood. Coffee is served before you make a dramatic, steam-hauled entrance into London Victoria. This is a true trip of a lifetime.
