Day 1

We head this morning to the delightful city of Canterbury, its mighty Cathedral houses the shrine of Archbishop Thomas Beckett.The day is free to discover its cobbled streets and hdden gems of 'Canterbury's Tales'. Late afternoon we check into our centrally located hotel.

Enjoy dinner in Canterbury this evening, there is a multitude of restaurants offering a variety of dining experiences local to our hotel.

NB: Please be advised that our hotel is situated within the Canterbury Walls and it is not possible to drop off right outside the hotel. It will be required for you to bring your own luggage to the hotel, which is a 5 minute walk from the Coach Drop off Point.

Day 2

A lesiurely and hearty breakfast, before we head to Deal, one of the prettiest seaside towns in Kent, a tiny but terrific hidden gem. Boasting an award-winning high street and an unspoiled seafront, it is unsurprisingly, frequently highlighted as one of the best places to live in Britain. Picturesque and pastel-coloured dwellings, nestled among cobbled winding streets, where quaint fishermen’s cottages rub shoulders with well-preserved Georgian town houses. We depart late afternoon to retrace our steps home.

The Hampton by Hilton Canterbury is nestled among shops and cafes, just a five-minute walk from the iconic Canterbury Cathedral. Built on the site which once stood the Canterbury Roman Theatre, the building itself includes parts from the Georgian and Victorian era. In the hotel lobby you can view from a glass panel in the floor the remains of theatre which once stood on the site and see the Victorian fireplace which has been restored.
