A tradition dating back to 1871, enjoy watching over 140 decorarted floats, the results of a years hard work and fundraising. The procession takes around 2 hours to pass from start to finish, be dazzled by the lights, music, dancing and singing!

Day 1

A mid morning departure to check into our overnight hotel in Bridgwater. Time to freshen up before we head into Weston super Mare. An abundance of amusements and restaurants gives us a chance to dine before this must see Somerset event. Regarded as one of the largest illuminated processions in the world. The parade commences at 7.30pm, when more than 140 illuminated carts , marching bands and entertainers descend on this seaside town. Some can be up to 100ft in length and some have 20,000 - 30,000 light bulbs. The parade can take up to 2 hours to pass along the seafront, after which we re-board our coach and head the short distance to Bridgwater for a night cap at the bar.

Once the procession concludes, we re-join our Coach and head to our hotel for a nightcap to complete the day.

Day 2

A leisurely morning and heart breakfast begin the day, before we head to the Georgian City of Bath. Enjoy the numerous attractions, fabulous shopping and eateries before our late afternoon departure home.
